Enabling Redirected Folders with Administrator access

  1. Create folder D:\Redirected
  2. Setup Redirected Share with Full Permissions for EVERYONE
  3. On the Security tab, remove all inherited permissions
  4. Add the ADMINISTRATORS entity with Full Control
  5. Add the SYSTEM entity with Full Control
  6. Add the CREATOR OWNER entity with Full Control
  7. Add the AUTHENTICATED USERS entity and add the following permissions only,
    Create Folders / Append Data
    Read Permissions
    Read Attributes
    Read Extended Attributes
  8. Add the AUTHENTICATED USERS entity and add the following permissions only,
    Traverse Folder
    List Folder
  9. Ensure that the previous entry (8) applies to this folder only.
  10. For each Redirected GPO, do not use grant the user Exclusive Rights
